About This Project

Astralis

A vertical house designed to elevate experience

CONCEPT

Astralis introduces verticality into compact living.

Organized around a tower-like volume, the house separates functions across levels—opening outward at the base while becoming more introspective above.

It is a spatial sequence, not just a form.

  • 54 sqm
  • tower-based layout
  • double-height interior perception
  • large glazed ground floor
  • private upper level
  • timber frame construction
  • prefabrication compatible
BUILDING LOGIC

Astralis is structured as a vertical timber system that maximizes spatial quality within a limited footprint.

The ground level establishes a strong connection with the landscape through large glass surfaces, while the upper level provides privacy and enclosure.

The internal height and layered organization enhance the perception of space, creating a compact yet expressive living environment.

Astralis is part of Studio VOID Collection, a collaboration between VOID Architecture and Finnish house manufacturer Honkatalot.
